The Add A New Pledge Drive form contains pledge drive items such as pledge drive code, date the pledge started, account code for payments, solicitor code (to track soft credits for example), total pledged amount, period between payments, number of months or weeks between payments, date first payment is due, company the pledge will be matched by, the percent the company will match, if the pledge is anonymous, and if payment notification should be sent.  Required items include pledge drive code, account code, dates, amount pledged, number of payments, time between payments.

The pledge can also be marked as Anonymous. If Anonymous pledge is checked the donor’s name will appear as "Anonymous" on some pledge reports that are printed.

Once the Pledge Information has been entered, LifeLine will calculate the amount of each payment and create a Payment Schedule based on the number of payments, the length between each payment, and when the first payment is due.  Once the schedule has been created it can be reviewed, edited, and added to, as needed.
